After an initial polymer clay prototype and a head-turning 3 meter sculpture, Spanish artist Luaiso Lopez’s lighthearted take on the Empire’s shock troopers is headed towards release as an art toy from ZCWO. The Stormtourist imagines a stormtrooper’s day off at the beach, relaxing in a tropical shirt, shorts and flip-flops and yes, the iconic helmet with a splash of color. Definitely one to keep an eye on.
