Toy Art Gallery and TAGTOYS have once again teamed up with illustrator Martin Ontiveros to release a new “Erythrism Edition” colourway for their signature soft vinyl monster GHOULASH. This colossal creature, assembled through the art of suturing by a mad wizard, will be available via email raffle starting September 4.
If GHOULASH’s very existence is a narrative about “suturing”—the arms of a werewolf, the limbs of a barbarian race, the hind legs of a dragon, a torso pieced together from a giant and reptilian skull, and a bat dwelling within a hollowed skull—then the arrival of the Erythrism Edition applies a completely new visual skin to this patchwork monster. The paintwork for this edition was executed by uhoh Toys, layering rich colour gradients through a combination of spray and hand-painted details.
GHOULASH stands approximately 10.5 inches (26.7 cm) tall and 7.5 inches (19 cm) wide, composed of 12 parts with 8 points of articulation—a substantial soft vinyl collectible.
