Beautiful Chemistry has teamed up with artist M.Y CHEN Zuer to release Nesifu, the “Slumber Pillow Collector” from the AFS (ART FASHION STORY) 1/12th scale action figure collection. In the universe built by M.Y CHEN Zuer, every pillow in Dream City represents a unique dreamscape—rest your head on one, and you fall right into it. Nesifu’s mission is to collect these pillows.
M.Y CHEN Zuer is an artist and curator who spent nearly a decade in France. She moved to Paris at age 14, earned dual Master’s degrees in Design Direction and Curatorial Studies from ESAG Penninghen, and upon returning to China, founded the art brand MY ILLUSTRATION as well as the renowned immersive art festival “Witches’ Feast.” Her work primarily utilizes ink on paper and acrylic, weaving Eastern folk aesthetics with Western fantasy narratives. She has previously created window art displays for La Rinascente in Milan.
Nesifu’s design blends fairy-tale themes with 1950s retro fashion language. She wears a magnetic pointy hat, a black umbrella-skirt dress accented with red ribbons, alongside a matching pearl necklace, earrings, and bracelet. Her shoes are integrated with her legs and are non-removable.
