A midnight-gold plague doctor gargoyle perches atop a stone pedestal in Gothic ruins. This is Kaze Studio’s limited-edition Piti for TTF 2026—only 20 pieces worldwide, available exclusively on-site at Booth B24.
Thailand-based Kaze Studio excels at folding animal forms and everyday whimsy into art toys. Founder Koson Kajeekailas (known professionally as Tee) brings such passion to sculpture and character design that every character he creates carries a vivid, slightly eccentric charm. The sturdiness of the gorilla Kongrit, the softness of the caterpillar Jewel, and the dark elegance of the plague doctor Piti all share the same visual DNA—that Thai humor of being “cute but not quite right.”
The character Piti itself carries a narrative tension. Historically, the plague doctor moved between death and fear, and the silhouette of the beak mask is naturally suited to being made into a toy. For this TTF limited edition, the chosen “Midnight Gold” colorway sinks the already mysterious character further into the night—the transition between deep gold and dark tones feels like a relic just discovered in Gothic ruins: elegant, but not exactly benevolent.
The limited edition is made of UV resin, stands approximately 8 cm tall, is limited to 20 pieces, and is priced at NT$2,000. The sales method is straightforward: on-site sales at Booth B24, first come, first served. In addition to this limited piece, Kaze Studio is also bringing exclusive limited-edition works, one-of-a-kind hand-painted custom pieces, and various merchandise. Tee himself will also be at the booth, meeting and speaking with collectors who come by.
TTF 2026 runs from October 8 to 11 at the Huashan 1914 Creative Park, spanning four major halls—East 2 Hall, Central 2 Hall, Central 4A Hall, and Central 4B Hall 1F & 2F. Opening hours are 10:00–19:00, with the final day closing at 18:00. A midnight-gold plague doctor crouches in a corner of Booth B24, waiting for 20 people to take it home. If you arrive early enough, it will look at you before you reach out.
