Hordes of fans of Blizzard games will descend upon Anaheim for this weekend’s Blizzcon.  Beyond the computer games, cosplay, and more will be the launch of the brand spankin’ new N00bz vinyl  platform figures  produced in conjunction with Bigshot Toyworks. The design show above is the Starcraft II inspired “Raynor” and will be available exclusively in the Blizzcon goodie bags – it will not be sold individually.

Awhile back Blizzard asked its employees to come up with designs and over 250 obliged with customs.   The three best production ready designs of the large crop were turned into vinyl editions (r to l, below) – Fury of Ragnaros (John Butkus, World of Warcraft Team), Ghoulash (Oliver Chipping, Diablo III Team), and Murloc Madness (Julien Lefebvre).  These three figures plus a DIY will be available at the Blizzcon on-site store ($30 each).  Blizzcon will also showcase additional employee customs and offer an area for convention goers to customize their own DIY figs.

The N00b vinyl  drops just as we thought the vinyl crossovers into mass would start to subside.  Perhaps this is the last salvo or just the beginning of a new onslaught.
