Taiwanese artist Paul Shih’s upcoming Maori Warrior resin pays homage to the traditions of the indigenous people of his current residence, New Zealand. The large 8” hand-cast and hand-painted piece is based on his sold-out Aotearoa ‘paper diorama’ print (below). It appears to be a curvy rather than box translation. Maori Warrior is due to drop on June 1st, so we should be seeing full shots shortly. This 2nd resin figure is a considerable jump up in both scale and sculpting complexity from his first Metal Spirits project.
