Here’s a look at the latest custom toys from the mad genius, Jim Koch. This time around Jim’s an equal opportunity customizer dropping his talents on a 3" Dunny, MAD*L and a Trexi. Doink is a 3" Dunny that’s been mutated with the addition of large dunny ears — a little creepy yet seemingly harmless at the same time. The CockEYE MAD*L looks pretty normal ‘cept for the third eye. And finally, Sparky is a Koch-signature clown built from a Trexi body with a thirft-store doll head attached. While all three are nice, Sparky and Doink are interesting in that they use body "mods" in a seamless artistic manner. I suspect we’ll see increasing use of "mods" in production platform toys to spice things up a bit and give ’em a little custom flair. Dig these customs? You’re in luck! Both Doink and Sparky are available for sale directly through Futureplastik.
