The brand-new Creature Bazaar art toy convention, curated by Quang Le and Brandon Bradford, is coming to the Glendale Civic Auditorium on Friday, April 3rd – Saturday, April 4th 2020. As the title suggests, the show is focused on kaiju, monster toys and freaky fun. That said, there should be plenty of variety with a large vendor list (~100) including 3DRetro, Alex Pardee, BlackBook Toy, Comet Debris, DKE Toys, Headlock Studio, James Groman, Jesse Hernandez, Lulubell, Mai Nagamoto, Mark Nagata, Mutant Vinyl Hardcore, Neckface, Paul Kaiju, Retroband, Skinner, UhOh Toys, Unbox Industries, Yesterdays and many more. While the convention schedule seems packed with a show happening somewhere in the world nearly every month, Spring is a great time for a new show in California, slotting in before SDCC in the Summer and DesignerCon in late Fall.
Tickets for Creature Bazaar are available now for Friday (4.3, 5 – 9 PM) or Saturday (4.4, 10 AM-6 PM) for $20 each or $35 for a 2-day pass. You can also add on a gnarly Creature Bazaar Tee by Skinner. Who’s looking forward to the new convention? We are!
