Amanda Visell is about to log quite a few miles signing her new Wood Donkey Dunny from Kidrobot, first in the USA starting with KRLA on the 18th and then hitting SF, Dallas and NYC. A few days afterward she’s bound for Asia, Taipei to be exact. She’ll be signing at Paradise Toys and will be smuggling some art onto the island as well, such as these sweet wood Llamas.
Amanda’s done limited-edition hand-done wood sculptures before, but never in such a small run – there are only five. The painting on these, especially of the fur is excellent. There’s a real wow factor here. All told, these are basically 3D paintings done by Amanda’s own hand. ‘nuff said.
