Frank Kozik: 6″ Dr. Bomb Jr.

Frank Kozik’s deadly baby elephant, Dr. Bomb Jr,  is about to wreck havoc on unsuspecting collections of cuddly vinyl toys.  This 6" toy from Toy2R is the smaller version of the larger 8" Dr. Bomb (with huge 10" ones to follow).  This is the toy that was proclaimed as "the best toy ever" by a foremost toy expert at SDCC who we’ll refer to only as FK 🙂   So far we know about 3 different editions of Dr. Bomb Jr : Anarchy, Evil Anarchy and the Tower Records Exclusive RedCross Evil.  The RedCross Evil edition will retail for $60, be released on 12.15.05 and be limited to a tiny 250 pcs.  The Evil and the Evil Anarchy are very similiar with the main differences being the eyes and the full stubble of Anarchy’s evil counterpart.  I really dig Dr. Bomb Jr.  It’s a pretty unique sculpt and certainly a piece that will likely make people do a double-take 🙂  Of the three, the RedCross Evil is tops IMO because it plays well off the elephant surgeon gone wrong theme with the iconic Red Cross.
