Gap has turned the classic hoodie you’ve worn for years into a handbag. The new “The Hoodie Tote” is part of Gap’s first full handbag collection, GapBag. Designed by Reed Krakoff, it brings signature elements of the Arch Logo sweatshirt to the bag: ribbed side panels, the central arched Gap logo, and the kangaroo pocket are all carried over, while the hoodie drawstrings become the bag’s cinch closure. The exterior uses the signature soft fleece material, with a neoprene lining that gives the bag its shape. It feels like a well-worn sweatshirt to the touch, but looks like a structured tote when carried — the effortless, relaxed vibe is almost completely preserved.
