Just when you thought it was safe to get back in the water, Sad Salesman unleashes another smiling, yet maybe not so friendly character. A terror of the swamps, the Gator! vinyl art toy might be misunderstood but the half-eaten human arm suggests maybe not. And this alligator’s been eating well, with chubby cheeks and a less-than-streamlined silhouette.
Charming, cute and perhaps a bit cunning, Gator! follows in the (bloody) path of Sad Salesman’s previously released Shark! vinyl. Both are part of a growing number of figures designed to sit on a ledge for a laid-back display that fits more organically into a space.
The Gator! vinyl art toy (body: 4″, legs: a bit more) is available for preorder from Sad Salesman for $80 and is slated to ship sometime in Spring 2024.
