Jamie Rivadeneira (JapanLA) has reached into her bag of tricks and conjured up Haus of Super Shimmer (flier), a full slate of events celebrating Japanese-inspired pop culture, fashion and shopping, this weekend (6.4 –6.6) @ Space 15Twenty in Hollywood. So if you love Zoolander, Hello Kity, and all things kawaii (we know that’s some of you), you’ll want to check it out.
Things kick off Friday (6-10 PM) with the “Walk-Off Party”, a Zoolander themed party presented by Bubble Punch @ JapanLA. On Saturday, its JapanLA’s Four Year Anniversary party from 7-10 PM. Still with me? The Haus closes out on Sunday with a sneak peek of The Vader Project helmets from Gary Baseman, Buff Monster and Dan Goodsell. All three will be at the pop-up shop on Sunday.
Pop-up shop? Yes. The shimmering pop-up shop (all three days) will feature exclusive goods from Jessica Louise, Audrey Kitching, Chubby Bunny, Sugarpill Cosmetics, Lil’ Rae Cakes and Japan LA.
