Liu Zhiqi will release new editions of his Mini Kikiwa soft vinyl figure (4.3” long) at Shanghai Toy Show (4.5 – 4.7) and WonderFest Shanghai (4.6 – 4.7). The STS version of the hybrid rabbit/fish toy seems inspired by koi fish while the WF ‘Black Cat’ edition is perfect for cat lovers. We’re impressed with this toy which doesn’t seem to have gotten much exposure outside of China. The two animals flow together gracefully and the overall design is cute yet subdued. Both the STS edition [黑商会 (Shadow) booth b19] and the WF Shanghai Edition [A19-A20] will be available for 288 yuan (~$45).
