Japanese streetwear label SAINT Mxxxxxx has once again teamed up with classic animated character BETTY BOOP™ for a second collaborative collection. Continuing the brand’s approach of reinterpreting vintage cultural icons, the series is led by brand director Yuta Hosokawa, transforming the 20th‑century character into two distinct visual personas: Angel and Devil.

Following their initial collaboration, SAINT Mxxxxxx revisits BETTY BOOP’s signature traits, exploring the character’s dual nature—sweet and rebellious—through varied colour palettes and graphic expressions.

The collection includes two T‑shirt designs, each centred around the Angel and Devil themes. The Angel version adopts a cool‑toned palette, presenting BETTY BOOP with wings in a softer, more ethereal mood. The Devil version employs warm tones, incorporating horns and fiery wings to intensify the character’s edgier, more defiant side.

Both pieces continue SAINT Mxxxxxx’s signature vintage‑style print aesthetic and bear the copyright mark: “TM & © 2026 Fleischer Studios, Inc.”

SAINT Mxxxxxx was co‑founded in 2020 by Yuta Hosokawa and Los Angeles‑based visual artist Cali Thornhill DeWitt. The brand has long focused on the intersections of music, art, and street culture, building a distinctive visual identity through vintage imagery, hand‑finished treatments, and aged garment techniques.

This second BETTY BOOP collaboration extends the brand’s ongoing re‑examination of classic cultural symbols. By placing animated characters in new visual contexts, SAINT Mxxxxxx imbues them with renewed collectible value and fresh modes of expression.
