Sneakertron by Oscar Lopez

Oscar Lopez’s one-of-a-kind Sneakertron ‘bots made from dissected  kicks (Converse for this model) are just cool.  The  model (pictured above) was part of the Converse Weapons Inspection show and has now sold,  but Oscar is already working on additional models.  Also, there’s a chance we might see a limited-edition line of Sneakertrons sometime in the future.  In a small way, Sneakertron is part of a larger trend: Kicks and designer toys are heading in the same direction and we’re bound to see lots of crossover work (custom + production) in the near future.
