Just read over on the kidrobot message boards, that Gary Baseman’s incredible 16-inch Toby plush toy is still available for $200 directly from Billy Shire Fine Arts. These toys, limited to 200 pieces as part of the ongoing "For Love of Toby" show, are very high quality with the detailed features (symbols, facial features, etc) being individually sewn on rather than painted. Additionally, unlike most plush figures, they stand on their own much as one would expect from say a vinyl toy or a sculpture. Also, if you live in Southern California, you can pick up your order at Billy Shire on Saturday, June 11th at 4pm during which time Baseman will be signing the plush toys, show catalogs, and posters!
