Philadelphia-based artist Distortedd’s (Anhia Santana) Zaira is her first original vinyl art toy. Drawn from her Synchronicity painting—her favorite piece—the bust-style figure features a beautiful woman with pastel wire fragments in her hair and across her body. Having cut the wires tying her to the outside world, the one-eyed character—a Distortedd signature—is free to connect to herself. The figure stands apart with its sexy yet off-center design.
A numbered edition of 250, the Zaira vinyl art toy (8″) will be available for pre-order on Halloween (10.31) from Distortedd for $125 and is expected to ship in mid-February.. Each piece is numbered on the bottom via laser engraving.
